CHICAGO - The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF), in partnership with Nation’s Restaurant News and founding sponsor The Coca-Cola Company, hosted the 2008 SPIRIT Awards and FMP® Recognition Breakfast on Monday, May 19th at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill. The Breakfast honored the winners of the 2007 SPIRIT Awards and those who have received the NRAEF’s Foodservice Management Professional® credential. Coach Joe Crosby, president and CEO, Coach’s Low Country Brands, delivered the keynote address at this year’s event.

The breakfast was followed by the SPIRIT Awards Workshop “Recruitment, Retention and Recognition – Companies with Award-winning SPIRIT,” during which more than 160 attendees engaged the 2007 award winners as they presented and took questions on their outstanding people practices.
Joe Crosby is the owner of T-60 Grill Restaurant in Fairplay, SC and the president and CEO of Coach’s Low Country Brands™ and Coach’s Low Country Boil® in Seneca, SC.
